Each piece is created with care using high-quality materials, bringing out personality and emotion in a realistic style. I’ll work with you to make sure your portrait feels truly special and personal.
HOW IT WORKS
Your request: Fill in the contact form below and tell me what kind of portrait you’d like, plus any special wishes.
Photo selection: Next, I’ll need a clear, high-quality photo. It helps to send a few options showing different angles and expressions. Together, we’ll choose the best one for the portrait.
Price and timeline: Once I’ve seen your photos and details, I’ll send you a personal price based on the size and complexity of the portrait. I’ll also let you know the expected timeframe, which is usually a few weeks to a couple of months depending on my schedule.
Deposit: A deposit is needed to reserve your place. After that, I’ll start working on your portrait.
Drawing time: I’ll spend many hours carefully working on your portrait to capture every detail. I can share progress updates along the way if you’d like.
Final review and delivery: When the portrait is finished, I’ll send you a preview for approval. After any final touches, I’ll carefully pack and ship the artwork to you. All artwork is shipped flat in protective packaging.
Receiving your portrait: Your portrait arrives unmounted and unframed, so you can choose a frame that suits your style.

Prices exclude shipping. Emmy is based in the Netherlands and ships worldwide.
These prices do not include a background. For a background or extra subjects in the same portrait, please contact me for a custom price.
PAYMENT
To book your portrait, I ask for a 40% non-refundable deposit. The remaining 60%, plus shipping costs, is paid once the artwork is finished, before it’s sent to you.
You can pay via PayPal or bank transfer.
SHIPPING
Shipping within the Netherlands is €10, including tracking and insurance.
For international orders, packages are sent with tracking and insurance. Contact me for a shipping price.
Please note that if your country is outside Europe, your package might have extra customs fees when it arrives.
